What the hell was that bs call. Shit was clearly clean.
What the hell was that bs call. Shit was clearly clean.
Forget top 10, if a dude can be half of his teams offense on high efficiency, then the man might arguably be the goat lol.
At that point you can surround him with defenders that are lacking on offense and still be able to get the job donne
MPJ has been attacking the rim more recently as hes gained a good amount of muscle this off season (like 20 pounds of it).
To compare, he is around the size of JT. This is exactly what most of us have been asking him to try and explore, but the issue and fear is his back. But i guess he isnt too worried rn.
I feel like in all honesty that in scenarios where Jokic isnt playing, AG really should be the one to run the offense. Hes kinda better at it than Jamal if im gonna be honest (Jamals more of a scorer).
Still god dam Shai has been cooking. He is the one guy where im just looking to see weather our guys can ever so slightly bother him. Hes gonna score, but still hes a fantastic measuring stick.
The rest of the Thunder squad are lookung great too.
Ok honestly this is looking great so far.
Zeke has made some solid plays, Braun has been great on defense all things considered, Strawther has been great on offense and im liking the Way MPJ has been playing.
And AG is being AG, which is always good.
Context is key here, but im genuenly fine with both crying.
Lossing always sucks, especially after the hard work it takes to get to the finals.
Gobert was talking about his mother and i cant say nothing bad about a man that loves and respects his mother like that.
There are times when you just cant control yourself with that. Like there is a clip of Embid crying after a playoff L and thats also made fun of way too much.
People really shouldnt judge others for showing emotions at times. You aint a crybaby if you cry every once in a while.
Exactly. He was amazing last season, no questions asked.
But i think the 65 game rule has blinded people from realising the fact that games played always mattered when it comes to giving awards.
Like in 2023 it wasnt important for the MVP cause Embid played like 66 games and Jokic played 69.
But if the gap between games played is bigger, than it starts to look more favorable towards one player.
Like Jokic last season played 9 (if i remember right) more games than Luka and that very much counted towards him getting the MVP and even played more than Shai i think.
And if you go further into the past you will probably see lots of examoles of availability being awarded.
Not an unfair point…if Embid played like close to 65 games.
Like would anyone actually give the MVP to Embid even without the 65 game rule on the basis of him playing 39 games.
Good mentality to have. That said its also fair to make fun of guys when they straight up come out and say it, especially if it aint the consensus opinion.
Nah. Thats just ignoring all the mediocre games he had prior to the semis and finals.
He is what makes the Celtics an all time team.
Them repeating imo is all about whether he can be healthy for the playoffs or not cause i cant imagine the Celtics get the hospital east again to destroy without KP.
I believe that the 76ers can win 60 games next season if Embid stays healthy. I also believe that even with all that, they are gonna be 2nd round exits cause they will encounter the Celtics or Bucks or Knicks.
Dam imagine if it was…though would you guys really want Embid on your squad.
Luka i can kinda see work really well, but Embid would need to play off ball a lot more and he isnt the best at that (though could certainly learn and addapt like Luka did to Kyrie).
Yes and we watched half a season of Embid being a tier above everyone (including my boy himself), while Steph was bouncing between great and mediocre games and the Lakers looking better without Lebron at times and him watching birds on defense.
He was by far the most accomplished young prospect ever to step foot in the NBA.
You can say some college players from the US, but the guy was a champ and MVP in the euroleague and was at that point a pro for years.
I do however gotta say that a lot of time it happens that guys that are good in Europe simoly dont do well in the NBA so i understand why people were scheptic.
The only argument for Kobe is that Kobe has 1 more ring…cause he played with prime Shaq lol.
No teammate of Lebrons has ever been even close to as good as Shaq.
Shai if he doesnt win anything.
But the probable ones are Booker, CP3, Brunson, Zion and so on.
More or less guys that never won MVPs or championships.
Of course this can change if they win it, but Guys like Giannis, Jokic, Embid, AD and Luka have more or less solidified their status in this era.
Maybe. If all goes according to plan, then in the next 2 to 3 years he is gonna start surpassing some of them. And as Embid, Giannis and Jokic start to decline and Wemby starts entering his prime…most certainly.
But this is all under the asumption that he doesnr get a huge injury in the near future.
Stephs shooting tbh.
There are a couple of guys that are comparable to Magic.
Whether its Stockton (who is a comparable passer imo), Nash or CP3.
And then you have guys like Lebron or Jokic, who will score a ton and pass. As passers they are great because thwy can also score well.
Id still say Magic is the best ever, but Steph is by far the best 3 point shooter ever.
This isnt me saying that Steph is better than Magic, but that Steph is incomparably better than the next best shooter just by the nature of the type of shooter he is.
A 3 point specialist wasnt something that was common before Steph came to the scene and since then, there hasnt been a guy comparable to him.
Celtics. I dont give a dam how good you think the Pistons were, were talking about the best offense and 2nd best defense in todays league.
An offense so potent that there are 5 great shooters at all times on the floor.
You aint beating them with just defense, no matter how good you think said defense is.
Even adding Kawhi would be tough. Whats Kawhi realisticly gonna do for the Pistons that would make them outpace the Celtics in scoring. As great as Kawhi is, id rather best on the Celtics locking him down tham vice versa happening.
Now this is all under the asumption that Tatum actually plays well…and lucky for him this is a matchup between 2 teams in the east, so it cant be a finals series.
When was Wilt shooting 70% true shooting.
And Wilt had a terrible roster. And 60 points is still 10 more than 50 points, which is Wilts peak year and the mans carrier average was 30.
Even then, Wilt is a top 12 player at worst and the only reason he isnt higher was the era he played in.
