LeBron: 4 rings in 20+ seasons, changing teams 3 times

Kobe: 5 rings without changing teams

LeBron: 2 superstar teammates (3 if you count Kyrie)

Kobe: 1 superstar teammate

The Shaq argument doesn’t make sense since LeBron has played with Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Love, Davis all in their primes. Kobe just had Shaq and Pau. Even if you said they had equal help, Kobe got 1 more ring so….

So is LeBron just better because his stats look nicer? Because it hasn’t translated to winning as much as Kobe did in less time and in a tougher conference.

I don’t think people are valuing winning enough. I know it’s a team sport but I just showed you that Kobe won more with less.

The only argument for Kobe is that Kobe has 1 more ring…cause he played with prime Shaq lol.

No teammate of Lebrons has ever been even close to as good as Shaq.

These muthafuckas think his 2000 ring averaging 15.6 - 4.6 - 4.2 - 36.7 FG% is this ultimate trump card that puts Kobe ahead of LeBron.

Yeh…rings as the be all end all is a ridiculous argument. Even more unfair to compare player rings from different eras to decide who’s better.

But that’s what most fans do unfortunately

Rings culture is a disease and I try to be the cure.

Stat sheet culture pretty bad too. Can Lebron fans explain Russell Westbrook if he just kept doing triple double seasons add a few rings. How is he not better than Bron?

No teammate has been as good as shaq stat wise but d wade and Bosh were more than an equivalent lol esp not mentioning all the players who took a pay cut to play with Bron. People don’t wanna mention Bron played with Shaq and it was just a few years from a ring

Yeah but LeBron has had EIGHT all-star teammates. Maybe more that I’m forgetting because HOLY COW he’s had so much help.

I mean, there could be others, but obviously I don’t really agree, but it’s pretty subjective who is “better.” I mean you could take Kobe as better if you value scoring, shot making, on ball defense, and Mamba mentality over everything else.
