Seems like a reasonable list to me.
Every year, the league’s total wins and total losses should be even.
However when most pundits or fans make predictions for each team they don’t bother to balance it out. It’s usually smart to be optimistic on each end so team fans like the post. but if you combined all the records, it’d be well over .500.
ahh good catch, thanks!
They’re coming up next! This doesn’t seem to be popular so I’ll just burn through the whole group.
Yeah definitely – with Milwaukee more than most.
But we ALL need to stay healthy my friend. Get general check-ups.
I agree with that but it’s usually an older guy like Haslem or Conley or a very vocal guy.
Yeah definitely easier role than before. But playing with Giannis wasn’t THAT difficult either.
That’s fair. If Spoelstra is the coach then Bam as a captain makes some sense to double down on a Heat culture mentality. I don’t know if the Miami franchise would want so much focus on international play though.
The trouble is: if you set the “bar” with a captain like Bam, you may be discouraging better players from participating. I don’t even know if Ant wants to sign up to join “Bam’s team.”
It seems like they’re going the route of treating the World Cup as an audition for the young guys. Haliburton and Ant played well and got promoted, so to speak. It’s not the best strategy to win if the World Cup but it’s a fair one if the primary goal is still the Olympics.
Donald Sterling would have loved this system - he could field a terrible league 2 team and still get equal money as the top teams?
In his first stint with the Cavs , I don’t think he had a bad reputation because that team was clearly overmatched. In fact he had a great “clutch” moment scoring 25 straight against Detroit.
Then his rep took a hit in between, first when he seemingly checked out on the Cavs; and then when he seemingly choked (or at least took too much of a backseat) in the Finals against Dallas.
Cleveland’s win against Golden State (and his play the year before, really) erased that.
I’d still bet on France for a silver. Their group isn’t as a strong as Canada’s so they should be a safe bet to advance.
