Lebron guarding KD (KD literally doesn’t even see the man and has had some of his best and most efficient nights on him) and surprisingly Russ guarding KD (you can tell Russ wants that matchup but also he knows KDs tendencies and moves)

No they should just make the teams positionless there is no reason that Joel or Jokic should make all nba second teams in any of the past 4/5 years. I like 3 as it separates the elite from the elite. Even though that gap between superstar and above average NBA players gets smaller every year.

Think of someone like Jamal Murray who has never made an all star that has continually proved in the playoffs that he can play just as well as lebron and AD in a series. Trae Young averages 28/11 and still doesn’t make an all star team. Dearron Fox has made one all star team and has been average 25/5/5 for the past couple of years.

Idc what people say they will be in the play-in tournament at minimum. The CP3 signing will be as good as advertised he won’t put up insane stats and might even be inefficient but if there is one thing he is great at is maximizing the skillset of those around him. Fully expect them to be around the 40 win mark. Honestly a great signing for the spurs and wemby to have this kind of veteran presence/mentor. The guards on the team will also develop and the open looks CP3 creates for the team will be great.

He won’t win MIP his expectations are too high. Usually they give this to the guy that makes a huge statistical leap or someone who exceeds expectations.

This might be the greatest skill gap in all of sports. Really I can’t think of another one. Steph is ELITE offensively. The guy people always bring up is Kyrie as he is the more skilled in steph in every aspect of scoring than steph except shooting and off ball movement. Keep in mind Kyrie is an elite shooter himself but stephs gap in shooting literally makes it irrelevant.

I think our biggest issue atm is likely not enough shooting, I ponder if the addition of someone like Duncan Robinson would be able to help out in this kind of situation or heck even Klay just spotting up(spare me the 0-10 comments he still shot 39% on super high volume and his looks would be much cleaner on this team) and yes he is still a better shooter than Ant, booker, and tatum atm.
