Definitely. In its 16 day format there are too many events going on at the same time and you just can’t see enough. You have to choose 1 out of 8 events happening simultaneously, so you miss out on 7. I love the Judo tournament but as I’m watching that I know I am missing the swimming, the archery, gymnastics, volleyball, fencing, diving, etc.

If it were a month with less events at the same time I could actually view more different sports.

I know, but the Olympics is different. For some reason I become interested in sport only during the summer Olympics. There is just a great festival atmosphere about it.

And the reason I want it to be a month long is not only so that it lasts longer, but then events could be more spread out which would make it easier to watch more stuff.

Completely disagree with you. If you don’t want to watch for longer than an hour, then don’t watch for longer than an hour. Some of us want them to last the whole day. At least it’s easier for you to get what you want.

The saber is both poking and slashing, so it looks more violent and it’s faster. It’s a bit too erratic for me though. I prefer the Epee.
