There’s guys on the roster who are better pgs who need development Blake Wesley is likely gonna be the 3rd string behind tre, sure it’s definitely possible guys could get injured but at this point castle really isn’t a good enough passer or shooter to be a pg. He’s gonna rotate mainly between sg and sf, he’s definitely gonna get reps at the pg position it’s just he works better at the 2 and 3 currently. It could take at least a year or two before he’s good enough to play pg. U even have a guy like sidy cissoko at 6’8 who isn’t built like a traditional pg but is actually a better pg than castle at this point and is very similar to diaw at least skill set wise not actual playing wise so far

The only problem with that is he’s not gonna handle the ball that much to get good stats which matters a ton in the roty race guys like edey and rissacher should get a lot more opportunities to score and “pad their stats” castle will be mainly a defensive guy at least this year

It’s a good decent class the reason scouts and gms were so low on this class wasn’t because they aren’t good prospects and players it’s cus out of all 60 guys no one really has superstar potential. I think at the end of the day they’ll mostly be great role players from this class but I don’t think anyone will ever be like a top 10 or possibly even top 15-20 guys in the league

  • Steph is very skilled not actually super talented, there have been guards who are bigger, faster, more athletic. Russ for example is id say is more talented but steph is just so much more skilled offensively that he’s better. LeBron has both. He’s been said by Tristan Thompson to have been 280 pounds at his biggest and we already know the dude is measured at 6’9.5 without shoes, meaning you have a guy who’s around 6’10 280 in his prime could run as fast as any guard but could outjump almost all of them. Really the only guy who stacks up athletically in nba history is Wilt and Bron is just a far more talented passer than almost anyone other than Magic
