Who do you guys have winning the rookie of the year? Not too familiar with a lot of the rookies.

Off tangent,

I took Edey in my fantasy league, I don’t believe he will be rookie of the year, but will have some decent numbers this season.

ROY aside, Salaun is in the race to become MVP at the end of the season, given the trajectory.

I think Reed and Risacher might be better, but Edey will get more minutes than the former, and a better team than the latter. I have him as my pick for ROTY.

I have all 3 on my team because Reed and Risa were available super late so hopefully they all look good.

I can see Ware in the running for ROTY, but not winning.

If Ware wins ROTYA, something went terribly wrong with our season.

I love Castle’s game and he should get good minutes with that Spurs roster. With CP3’s mentorship to boot, he’ll surprise a lot of people

The only problem with that is he’s not gonna handle the ball that much to get good stats which matters a ton in the roty race guys like edey and rissacher should get a lot more opportunities to score and “pad their stats” castle will be mainly a defensive guy at least this year

I don’t see why not, no offense but your roster is still very weak especially at the guard position. CP is old, Tre Jones is okay but better limited to the bench, Vassell is really good but often injured, and the rest are G-leaguers. Given the fact that you’re still in a developmental phase, it would be a big mistake to not develop a high potential guard in that situation.

There’s guys on the roster who are better pgs who need development Blake Wesley is likely gonna be the 3rd string behind tre, sure it’s definitely possible guys could get injured but at this point castle really isn’t a good enough passer or shooter to be a pg. He’s gonna rotate mainly between sg and sf, he’s definitely gonna get reps at the pg position it’s just he works better at the 2 and 3 currently. It could take at least a year or two before he’s good enough to play pg. U even have a guy like sidy cissoko at 6’8 who isn’t built like a traditional pg but is actually a better pg than castle at this point and is very similar to diaw at least skill set wise not actual playing wise so far

I think this is the first year where the #1 pick is so slept on, I think Risacher has a good chance

Sheppard. He’s so good. Udoka is smart and will be playing him 25+ minutes and the rockets will win close to 50 games
