LeBron: 4 rings in 20+ seasons, changing teams 3 times

Kobe: 5 rings without changing teams

LeBron: 2 superstar teammates (3 if you count Kyrie)

Kobe: 1 superstar teammate

The Shaq argument doesn’t make sense since LeBron has played with Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Love, Davis all in their primes. Kobe just had Shaq and Pau. Even if you said they had equal help, Kobe got 1 more ring so….

So is LeBron just better because his stats look nicer? Because it hasn’t translated to winning as much as Kobe did in less time and in a tougher conference.

I don’t think people are valuing winning enough. I know it’s a team sport but I just showed you that Kobe won more with less.

    you and me both, brother.

    lebron is a genetics/layup merchant.

sure he was more efficient and that plays a massive role. Kobe didn’t have the luxury of the body lebron had.

kobe had to take the tougher way out, lebron was gifted everything. Kobe needed to work on his footwork to a demonic degree… lebron = bulldoze/travel to easy 2s

Wait, so who is better is defined by who is gifted but not too gifted?

        Thank you.

Everyone in the NBA is genetically gifted. Doesn’t make someone like LeBron or Shaq less great because they were even more genetically gifted

This is like saying I’m a better shot blocker than Wemby because I have to work harder to get blocks while Wemby is naturally taller

Kobe was also a generational athlete with insane vertical. He’s just smaller than Bron and plays the guard position, so it’s more jumpshot focused
