Who are the greatest plug and play players in NBA history? I don’t mean guys who can make a team better but a player that can play next to anyone in any system.

An example is like KD or KG, where I can see them thrive in any system on any team. A player that is GOATed but not plug and play would be someone like Bron. Could I see him play next to Jordan or Kobe, vice-versa?

lebron could definately play offball just as an athlete alone. hes alot more methodical now, but back then he was a fast break/ lob finisher. kd has those characteristics but more so as a catch and shooter. lebron was a point guards dream.

For a role player, young Dennis Rodman (like 89-91 Pistons Rodman, who somehow also led the league in FG percentage for a year).

Old Dennis Rodman doesn’t apply here since his attitude made him unplayable at times.

Prime Klay Thompson. Bends the defense without high usage, can move constantly off ball, can defend 1-3, decent size for his position.

Miami Lebron, Anthony Davis, Derek Fisher, Shane Battier, Klay Thompson before injuries, Ray Allen… the list goes on put in Kawhi too specially before he became ball dominant.
