Danny Green, Shane Battier, Robert Horry, Convington and Avery Bradley are some of my favorites playing this role. I know OG, Derrick White are put in this category but personally I think they do a lot more than just 3&d. The question is are the number of players who specifically play only 3&d becoming less significant in current version of the game?
As the league improves, those guys will have to be able to put the ball on the floor a lot. 3&D is still important, but it’s quickly becoming not enough
