These were for sure the most iconic venues ever set up. The thought behind the venues and how the sports were integrated into the city was outstanding and I’m not sure it will ever be topped.

I agree with the other poster that the Phelps / Bolt era was special in terms of watching pure dominance

But in from a spectator perspective this was the best games ever.

Most incredible Olympics with the most incredible backdrops of any I’ve ever seen. The French crowds were amazing as well, so many fun chants, and they were quick to sing along to any song

The organization and flow to each event was seamless. Multiple helpers at every metro station letting you know where to go. It was super easy to get in and there was a ton of security / police everywhere.

These games will go down as iconic. Well done France!!
