2 months agoKd is a complete offensive player. Everything he does got better from when he first got in the league. People don’t remember this as much but when he first got into the league his handle didn’t allow him to break people down off the dribble as much as you would think. But as others have mentioned his passing/decision making went from average to very good for his position. He made the evolutions in his game melo didn’t really care to. Melo had the same ability and would flash it but kd became more consistent with it
Funny reading how people were on Ant about being tired during this. To guard a jitterbug like Kyrie and be the only guy on offense who could consistently get in the paint and tilt the defense is something no one in the league will be able to do and not get gassed. It would be one thing if it was a wing he was guarding. But Kyrie and all his dribbling will gas you. Meanwhile both he and Luka on defense are just resting being able to load up on Ant drives cuz their offense is garbage in the half court
