I mean KD obviously isn’t Barnes but those Warriors teams from 17-19 in Regular Season + Playoffs had a 117 offensive rating when Steph was on the court and KD was on the bench and 112 when KD was on the court and Steph on the bench. The true impact came when they both were on the court but we have just substantially more evidence that Steph was the driver of the offense. Not to mention just look at what Steph was able to do vs Boston in ‘22 with no secondary creator other than Jordan Poole and what KD did in ‘22 with Kyrie. There’s different levels to impact, Steph is and was just a better player.
