Both guys are rail thin for their frames and will get bullied by many players in the league at their positions.
Sarr has some of the poorest shooting touch I’ve ever seen on a 7 footer and he plays for the Wizards so he’s definitely got less upside. He can block shots but with his size and athleticism he should be blocking a lot more. His ceiling is probably the 4th best starter on a contender.
Risacher has a lot of versatility and is less likely to be punished for his frame on the wing. I think he can do a lot with the ball but will have the ball less than he wants it on the Hawks this year. His ceiling is probably the 3rd best starter on a contender.
In most other drafts these guys would have gone in the pick 10-15 range and expectations would have been in line with them being competent starters eventually. This just happened to be among the weakest draft classes of all time.
Chet needs to embrace his height and hulk out with insane bulk and become the most insane center the league has ever seen. Hartenstein will play the 4 and he’ll say “yes sir” in response to Chet’s requests.
