He used to show blown calls in slo mo on the Jumbotron before coaches challenges were a thing. We have challenges because of Cuban.

He racked up millions in fines for complaining about bad refs, and then we found out the refs (at least one) were fixing games.

He was the first guy to cater to players chartered flights and posh dressing rooms and catered meals, in the home and visitors locker rooms. He was fantastic for the players.

His media, internet, and marketing skills helped drag the league from 1980 into the 21st century.

Cuban shook things up in the best way. Young Cuban was the best thing to hit NBA front offices in decades. Maybe ever.
