Interesting to hear that the Kings are seemingly searching for another star.
If this report is true, it sounds like the Kings are focusing on having an elite offense and relying on outscoring teams, instead of being well rounded on both sides of the ball.
Sabonis, Fox, DeMar, LaVine/Ingram are all elite offensive players, but their overall defence together would be quite underwhelming.
I think it’s a good approach since they would be further leaning into their identity of having a great offense, which can compensate for their defensive deficiencies.
The main concern is if this style of play would be successful in the playoffs as defence has always been proven to be an integral part of winning chanpionships.
I guess we would have to see how successful this group would be if they were to acquire one of LaVine or Ingram.
So the plan is to get Zach and DeMar but without having AC or Lonzo to play defense? Is the hope that you can score 200 points a night and win by 2?

Lavine, how? Very much absolutely unworkable salary match wise.
And anyway the Kings biggest weakness is size, they should be going after Vooch if anyone from the Bulls.
Lavine is the wayyyy better fit, but are we really doing Lavine/Derozan again?
I don’t know who Mat Issa is. I’m not sure he has many sources inside the Kings FO.
But also, this almost certainly work financially. This just smells like bullshit.
