So I don’t want to see names like Scoot or Jabari Smith and other top picks. What are some guys that not alot of people outside your team know that could break out into relevance this season?
For the Bucks, I think AJ Green will continue to cement himself in the rotation. Can’t have too many shooters around Giannis
I really like Bub Carrington’s attitude, dude seems like he’s got a good head on his shoulders.
I’m praying Haywood gets some more buzz around his name this year cuz I think he can make an all defensive team real shit. The Locksmith 🔐

20 years old and already a key rotation piece on a stacked OKC team. He’s got a great frame for his size, great defense, and makes good plays and decisions for his age (see his lockdown on the last seconds of that Pelicans vs OKC game during their series). Real great potential, I think he’s gonna blossom this year into something special.
I think Tillman has another gear and will surprise a lot of people.
How the Celtics got him is beyond me! He is a bit undersized but he makes up for it.
I think that Jokic guy is finally gonna show people what he’s capable of
I could see Jett Howard’s shot making commanding some minutes on the Magic this season

For the Wolves, keep an eye on Josh Minott.
Former mid-2nd round pick who flashed in his first summer league and then kind of sucked for the past 2 years (he was a 3rd year playing in summer league this past summer and was only okay, which is usually a kiss of death).
But he’s been getting rave reviews from the FO, coaching staff, and key vets (Mike Conley brought him up), and he’s been very good in the preseason.
The Wolves are deep as hell, so he’s unlikely to get a ton of burn, but I could see him clawing his way into a 9th man role (or higher if injuries occur).
I think Booker is underrated, he’s my dark horse for MVP. I think he will take the reigns from KD for real this year. He was so good at the Olympics, I wasn’t aware of his defense being as good as it is. He was 4th in MVP in 22’, I think he’s a top 7 in the league.
I guess “breakout season” might be the wrong wording for him though.
Jalen Johnson. Not sure how well known he is outside Hawks fanbase though
