All players have good and bad match ups, and this includes superstars. For example, Shaq got cooked by Hakeem and Rick Smits. AD seems to hate being guarded by Draymond, but Embiid does very well against Draymond. Gobert gets pocketed by Jokic.
What are some interesting match ups that you guys know about, maybe for your team or for your favorite player? As a Warriors fan, I remember Iguodala for some reason would do very well against Dame. Curry would do very good against Jrue Holiday, but he always used to struggle against Avery Bradley for some reason.
Al Horford owns Embiid so hard
Not really anymore.
But embiid owns jokic despite this subs hate and adulation for both guys respectively.
And yet Tristan Thompson would take Al to town (at least that’s how I remember it)
He averages nearly 26 points against him
If anyone owns Embiid it’s Marc Gasol, he averaged 12.6 against him
Marc gasol also owned Nikola vucevic. Literally turned him into Anthony bennet
26 is still pretty far below his normal. Dude regular puts up 30.

Which games?
As in the first half of his career he wasn’t averaging 30 a game like he is now. In 2018 he played against Horford like 4 times, he was averaging 22ppg that year and he scored 15, 26, 23 and 34 against him. So above his averages for that season.

More like 4 free throws since we are talking about Embiid
And averaging 6 extra points is two buckets as well but I dont think anyone is going to minimize a 6 ppg increase haha.
