So I know this was supposed to be the weakest draft in like 20 years, and it’s only been preseason, but a lot of the rookies have looked pretty good so far. I’m a Wizards fan and I’ve been pleased with what I’ve seen from Alex Sarr and Kyshawn George especially in preseason. Reed Sheppard, Ryan Dunn, Rob Dillingham, and Risacher have all looked solid. Again, it’s very early but with the way the media talked about this class, I was expecting these players to look really unprepared. How have the rookies on your teams been looking?
Too early to say. You can’t realistically draw a conclusion on whether a draft class is good or bad until they’ve been in the league and played actual regular season games for a little bit. Some second rounder might be a hall of famer one day you never know.
It’s a good decent class the reason scouts and gms were so low on this class wasn’t because they aren’t good prospects and players it’s cus out of all 60 guys no one really has superstar potential. I think at the end of the day they’ll mostly be great role players from this class but I don’t think anyone will ever be like a top 10 or possibly even top 15-20 guys in the league
Rob dillingham. Remember that name
Tyler Kolek, remember that name
Castle is HIM and that’s all I’ll say 💪🏼
I remember when Carson edwards dropped a 30 point quarter in preseason
There’s just not enough to go off of yet. Plenty of guys have great preseason stats
Its like 3 games into preseason, pump the brakes a little bit.
Preseason good.
No one really stand out to me. There might be some one with a solid career being a role player but no one has really wowed me
While it wasn’t top heavy talent wise, Lots of guys ended up on good/fun teams and will have an important role right out of the gate. Some years not many well known ones are on playoff teams, or are buried on depth chart, so will be more exciting to follow.
