Excuse the clunky phrasing. Just interested in finding out more about Olympians who also apply their intelligence towards other, perhaps more academic(?), pursuits. I’ll add that I think what’s incredible about those two in particular is that they both seem so well grounded and well adjusted, at least from what I’ve seen in interviews.
Don’t know if you count old Olympians but Alexander Karelin, considered the greatest mat wrestler, is known for having interest in poetry, art and music, he also has a law degree and he is now a politician, pretty brainy if you ask me.
