Excuse the clunky phrasing. Just interested in finding out more about Olympians who also apply their intelligence towards other, perhaps more academic(?), pursuits. I’ll add that I think what’s incredible about those two in particular is that they both seem so well grounded and well adjusted, at least from what I’ve seen in interviews.
Naomi Girma on the USWNT went to Stanford, along with Sophia Smith. Girma though is arguably the best center back in the world and such a smart player.
