    I think you are overestimating the US’s Olympic baseball prowess and underestimating other baseball playing countries (Japan, Cuba, Canada, Dominican Republic, South Korea, Taiwan). In the six previous games with Baseball, the US only has a single gold medal and didn’t even qualify one year.

      Yea, I doubt any MLB players will be playing, which obviously would help other countries as much as the US.

      Softball and Lacrosse were most likely picked to help the US, except the US dominates everyone in Field Lacrosse and the Olympics will only be 6 man Lacrosse, afaik, which the US doesn’t dominate

        I think they will have MLB players play. If they don’t Japan and Korea would be odds on favorites though.
