I loved how in the late night coverage they have the “extreme” events, and it got me thinking, what is they had an ominoum with all the “cool” / X-games style events? People would compete in each event separately and earn points, with the best combined performance winning gold.
I am thinking Surfing, Skateboarding, Rock Climbing, Table Tennis, Mountain Biking, and if you could somehow incorporate team events, beach volleyball and 3v3 basketball …
What else belongs?

The finale has to be kayak cross. That is the maddest sport in the Olympics.
Also love that you included Table Tennis.
Fencing
Definitely Kayak Cross and BMX Cross! The winter version would be pretty good too with ski and snowboard cross and a couple of other things.
