Kings: lost Harrison Barnes, and added DeMar DeRozan.

Pelicans: lost Valanciunas, and added DeJounte Murray.

Suns: lost Eric Gordon, and added Tyus Jones, Mason Plumlee, and Monte Morris.

Lakers: lost Taurean Prince.

Grizzlies: back in full strength. Last season Ja Morant played only 9 games, Marcus Smart only 20 games, and Desmond Bane only 42 games.

Grizz, Suns, Pelicans, Kings, Lakers. Grizzlies shocking everybody with a regular season bounceback is my hot take.

I’ll go Suns, Pelicans, Kings, Grizzlies, Lakers

Suns stole some cheap guys to put together a pretty passable rotation, which is what they were lacking. Kings should be above the Pelicans but the Pelicans beat the Kings so bad last year that I’m not doing that until the Kings show they can do something against that team. Grizzlies might be higher, maybe even way higher, but until they show some consistent good health and that they’re still as good as they seem on paper, I’m going to go low on them.

      Easy.

Kings. Fox, Sabonis, DeRozan, Malik and a bunch of solid role players is a recipe for NICE.

Grizzlies. Top 2 seed when Ja last played. From how insane he was immediately as he returned last year, safe to say they’ll be at least playoff caliber. 6th seed.

Pels. DeJounte Murray get is underrated. They have their own ‘Big 3’. Only thing stopping them is having no starting caliber C.

PHX. 0-4 aside, they still got KD, Booker, Beal and added a real PG who’s actually good too in Tyus. They not finishing as well as last year, but they’ll still be hovering play-ins.

Lakers. No roster changes, lost their 3rd best player in playoffs. Bronny and JJ nepotism drama. LeBron and AD no off-season rest at the Olympics. Laker fans should be glad next season ain’t turn out to be a Bronny circus.

They did play and when they played they were trash. Gabe was playing trash even before the injury and Vando gets hypothetically hyped up for his added defense, but by 5 games, Laker fans would start complaining bout his offense and blame their Ls on him.

          They are moving the needle.

Nah, I think KD and Booker would see a decline because of Olympics + KD age. Beal too if you take into account injury.

    1. Suns
    2. Grizzlies
    3. Kings
    4. Pelicans
    5. Lakers

But honestly all of them are close. I domt like the idea of throwing the Grizzlies at the highest tier of the west cause they have been injured as hell and are just returning from injuries.

Like there is a lot to like with the Grizzlies, but i think they are lacking high end talent rn. Ja is good, but Ja aint that good if you get what im saying and after him…like who is the reliable number 2 here.

Nuggets have the best player in the league, the Mavs arguably the 2nd best and Kyrie, the Twolves have KAT, Gobert and ANT and the Thunder are just stacked. And then the Grizzlies have…top 15 player Ja Morant that has injury and personal issues.

Kings havent looked great and Derozan doesnt move me much.

Pels got better, but i think they are interchangable with the Kings.

Lakers have as much high end talent as needed, but Dlo is a mixed bag, AR is solid and then the rest is just mediocre. Lebron and AD have too much of a load for where they are at in their carriers for an 82 game regular season and then the playoffs.

And the Suns could be great or could be the worst team here.

The reliable number 2 is Bane, who has been one of the most efficient and best-shooting players in the league since he was drafted. He’s 20-25 ppg every night and gets better every year. JJJ is also a 20 ppg guy but less consistent and less efficient.
