I’m a huge basketball fan so the last one is truly the one that will stick with me the most. The 4th quarter of the Serbia game was probably the single best quarter of basketball I’ve ever watched as these again legends truly became ungodly with their backs against the wall, and Curry in the final game finishing 4/4 capped off by one of the most impossible shots I’ve ever seen was truly spectacular to watch.
Ledecky became the most decorated *American* female Olympian, most decorated woman overall is gymnast Larisa Latynina (USSR)
Alfred’s gold was a nice one and was nice to see st Lucia going wild for their first medal and doing it in such style! Same with your man from Botswana and the Pakistani Javelin king!
I watched team GB women’s rowers take the Dutch when all look lost to take the gold I was screaming at the TV only for my SO to tell me it had happened during the day and it was actually a replay I was watching…was cool while it lasted though.
Enjoyed all the X games sports in equal measures and loved every minute of all of those
