Dude hit the coldest shot of his life in OT g7 against the nets. Tied 111-111 40s left to give the bucks the lead

    Career highlight for him

At least he had the decency to win the championship after giving these teams PTSD.

it’s really fortunate that Milwaukee won a title if only so that Khris Middleton won’t be lost in the shuffle of history. one of the best tough shot-makers of his era

Middleton may be the most unsung clutch player this generation. He’d probably be more known as a role player if he still hit the tough shots like a Robert Horry archetype, but since he’s a quiet borderline all-star with a top 3 teammate, he flies a bit under the radar

He’d have been ECF MVP if they started awarding it that year. It’s close with Jrue but I think he’ll take the cake.

It was such a crazy finals series for him. Everyone remembers Gianni’s going super Saiyan from the ft line at the end but str8 up Kris was Kobe vibes killer in crunch time that series. Every juncture they needed a bucket it was Kris. Dude was unconscious that series.

Everyone always talks about Durant’s toe being the difference for the Bucks championship run. There was like 0.7 seconds left and Bucks had a timeout. I’m convinced Middleton would’ve hit a game winner.

But didn’t they use the timeout when they were tied anyways?

They did. But we’re talking about alternate universes here where Durant’s shot was a 3. So I kinda also throw away the timeout possession the bucks had when the game was tied.

So cool to see the shot making and him so smooth with it. Similar to KD without the long slim arms.

Something happened in that 2018 series in the Garden. He like resonated with Paul Pierce somehow, like they both kinda have that thing where they never completely close their mouth all the way goin on and it somehow caused him to inherit PP’s clutch bucket powers. Went from nobody knowing him to an All-Star in one year
