“I go back to a role where 7 seconds to go, give me the ball. Watch me rock. Uh, isolation, step back. I get to hoop. You know, that’s what people forget about. Like, it’s cool. I played a great role. I had a phenomenal NBA career while I was in the NBA. But I don’t wanna stand in the corner and play with the Bucks.”
I don’t really see the problem with this. just a hater post
Hater post? It’s just a direct quote from Patrick Beverly with no additional commentary.
When i commented the only other comment was a (now deleted) comment from OP shittalking beverly for the decision. That’s the context
Cause It’s the role he’s always played in the NBA. Just comes off as salty saying now.
And Pat Bev has a history of shitting on his former team after he gets traded or doesn’t get another offer.
Definitely hasn’t been the role hes always played, you’re incorrect on that.
Pat Bev has a career usg rate of 14%
Not sure what point you are trying to make, but you’re wrong
Bev had offers, and he definitely hasn’t been relegated to corner duty his whole career. Even as recently as the wolves he had secondary ball handler duties (primary when dlo was off the court)
Dude just wants a bigger role and knew he wasn’t getting that in the NBA, it’s just realism
My guess it is mostly money related. His deal is similar to a vet minimum, but I’m guessing he won’t pay much in taxes and will have most expenses paid for
A bigger role is just a cherry on top
