Depends what you need tbh. Like at thos point Hardens offensive output simoly isnt at a level where it far surpasses everything that Jrue brings to the table, yet the offense he brings is still quite a bit more than Jrue.

Like as a 2nd option, i think Harden is better. But after that its all Jrue.

They bring completely different things to the table. Harden is definitly the better offensive player but the gap between them on defense is probably one of the biggest gaps between two players of the same position in the entire league. Jrue probably fits into a lot more teams but if you need 1st/2nd offensive option then Harden is likely a better fit.

If you are drafting a team from scratch, Harden probably gets picked first.

But you aren’t winning with either as your best or probably even 2nd best player.

The Celtics would not be better if they traded Jrue for Harden, but neither would the clippers.

I’m a Celtics fan and my team just benefitted greatly by having Jrue go on a tear these last playoffs. Harden may not be what every team he needs, but he is a better player in the overall sense of the word. That doesn’t make Jrue not as valuable in a number of circumstances, though.
