The New Orleans Pelicans had a ton of potential coming into the 2024 offseason, but based on the moves they've made, they may have ruined their window.
It’s hilarious how the media posts all the bullshit stories both ways. One day the Hawks are idiots and Spurs are getting Cooper Flagg with our pick. The next day the Pelicans are in trouble and their team won’t work.
I think it’s a win-win: Dejounte was not adding any value with Trae so we moved him for some much needed draft capital and we pick up Dyson Daniels for some much needed point of attack defense. Pelicans get the talented true point guard they needed on a great contract.
Unfortunately BI does not have much value knowing what you’ll have to resign him at which is why he’s hard to move.
