The decision outraged U.S. Olympic and gymnastics officials, and led to a torrent of online abuse against both Chiles and Ana Barbosu, the Romanian athlete who ended up with the bronze.
I just want to know why noone can actually see the official clock in real time. The coaches and judges didn’t know what the actual time was. That HAS to change. They HAVE to have a visible countdown clock from now on as well as some sort of buzz in system so that the time of the inquiry request is clocked in. The coach only having a minute to decide to put in an inquiry but, then have to navigate around the podium, the cameras, other personnel there etc, is ridiculous.
