  • On the top end probably Kobe. There are probably other players with wider spreads but there are people who place Kobe in their GOAT argument and act like people are completely crazy when they don’t despite almost every other “source” labeling him as a fringe top 10 guy. Ranking 8-14 or so is basically just splitting hairs, but we have people who constantly lump him in that top 3 and it just seems like quite the reach.

Overall probably Isiah Thomas. His career comparison if we just view all players equally is MAYBE a top 50 all-time career. But we have people arguing him for top 20, I’ve heard the question asked on NBA Radio “are we underrating Zeke for not mentioning him in our top 10”… Personally I feel like his career might be the most overrated in league history and his rankings tend to vary quite a bit because of that.

  • In todays game I’d rather have AD, he’s just more switchable defensively and offers say 80% of Dwight’s rim defense too.

AD’s biggest problem in general is as a number 1/2 option he just has too many games where he’s a bit too passive or lacks aggression, he can disappear. But at the same time that makes him a really high value complimentary player, on a team full of stars I think that naturally lets him fit the best. His mobility to set screens, and roll or pop, play off those guys without just needing the ball makes him fit best IMO.

The nights his jumper is working would make that team lethal.
