I mean pretty clearly a foul, but again it’s preseason the result of the game doesn’t matter, and the refs probably just want to go home. Though it is frustrating to see a ticky-tac hip bump get called for the lead, and then a full midair contact to the body not get called. I feel like if you are going to call one you have to call the other. Nonetheless it was a fun game to watch.

Because I know people are gonna run with the Tatum is obsessed with Kobe jokes, I think it’s a good time to reply with this Booker comment about Kobe.

I mean, I think the 2024 Celtics are really underrated when people compare them to other champions. But adding Peak Kawhi, who was a bucketgetter while being a DPOY talent, to the greatest defensive team ever kind of makes the Pistons absolutely nutty. Given I don’t think the Pistons fare well in today’s game given all the changes but if we are comparing the teams in their respective eras it’s hard not to go with the Pistons.
