I get it. I was the same when I played high school too. And I’m the same when it’s open gym and I go and play against them lmao.
Different hats for me in that moment as a coach is all.
Even in high school practices I have to repeatedly tell some kids to sub off cause they’re not trying to sit. I respect their grind but damn, I’m trying to coach here.
His final high school dunk was hype AF.
Also, kind of along the same lines as OJ, Bill Walker. Later known as Henry Walker. Dude got betrayed by his knees but he was a serious talent.
I thought the same. Pusha T/Jeezy have conditioned my brain to snow = cocaine.
Bad news for you is that I’m 35 so I know I’m old (compared to this sub). Maybe you are too.
His teams led the league in offensive ratings in like 7 straight seasons. He got guys like Quentin Richardson monumentally paid. He had Tim Thomas playing like he cared about basketball.
Getting to watch his prime was a gift. There was no one like him on the court.
Yet another example of how few people around basketball have ever actually played it at any organized level.
