I have issues with aspects of Edwards game that keep me from ranking him as high as some do. The playmaking is still pretty rudimentary, its improved but its not where it needs to be yet. The shot selection is also something that annoys me. I wish he tried to get to the rim even more than he does now. Ja Morant consistently attacks the rim and rarely settles for jumpshots, and overall I think he is just more skilled as a player. Playmaking Ja blows ant out of the water, and they are both absolute freaks athletically. Ant is the better defender but that gap doesn’t make up their offensive differences for me. Also Ja has a more proven record of leading great teams, whereas this is the first year the timberwolves have really made their mark on the league.

I based this list off of who I believe are purely the 100 best basketball players that are in this league right now. I always get inspired to make my own list around this time because I feel like too many people rank players based on value to their team instead of general value/basketball ability
