Picking up a ball from the side is so unnatural so it made me wonder how the 3pt contest would be if each player had a designated passer…sorta like homerun derby batters have their own pitcher. We’ve seen videos where curry hits 100 straight 3s. Obviously it would still be timed but I think we’d see new records in the contest

I think this is a great idea. Players should also be given a choice: Pass or rack.
