Have you guys seen Joel Embiid play for USA??? Like he’s legit solidifying himself as worst MVP of all time like how can anyone be a fan of Jojo. Bro really thinking he’s fucking curry shooting 3’s telling Lebron to stand in the corner and making Steph go fucking rebound seeking. Like you’re a fucking 2.11 Center but your soft as shit and you never play under the rim and do the dirty work. You can’t score without foul-baiting(whomp whomp Fiba only 5 fouls allowed), you try to act like your a guard but it always ends up in turnovers, all you do is hog the ball for 20 seconds, clog the entire teams offense so you can try to post up someone but instead fail miserably. Like he’s such a selfish piece of shit, when he loses, other stars acknowledge their responsibilities which contributed to the loss. Nah nah nah, my man Embiid out here blaming Harden blaming Doc blaming everyone apart from himself. Same thing in USA basketball, he thinks he’s good but he doesn’t realise he has other superstars next to him. He proceeds to get destroyed on both ends of the court by jock landale. Eh it’s arguable. Nash was definitely a more consistent better in the playoffs imo.

Womp womp. He is a top 5 player when healthy.
He can’t get the same foul calls, there is no defensive 3 seconds, and the game is much more physical. It’s weird, but American centers often struggle with FIBA basketball, like last year JJJ was struggling so badly that he was one of the worst players in the tournament with some absurdly low rebounding numbers. Another factor is is probably systems which Kerr is running where center doesn’t really have to do much except to rebound and play defense.
Embiid sucks when he’s reffed fairly. It’s great to watch

Joel Embiid is the worst player in the NBA. He is just Zaza Pachulia with foul baiting. No literally…. Watch him. Where’s the skill? Where’s the MVP? Where’s the NBA player? This guy only get’s recognition because he whines like a bitch constantly to the refs while also being their most beloved player. This guy has to sleep with the refs every night in order to maintain his NBA player status. I can not remember one time I watched Embiid and said, “Wow, this guy is good” or even, “Nice shot”. He doesn’t do anything that impresses me. Ever. How did he trick you guys into thinking that he is capable of dribbling, shooting, and defending a basketball. He puts in no effort , no skill, and is all free throws and whining. He has to average the most players injured a game and the most annoying comments a game by far. He even injures his own teammates sometimes. He has no likeable qualities that make up for his behaviour and mindset. Embiid is terrible at basketball. He even betrayed his country, he is hated by his teammates and fellow NBA players and only has a job because of his fraudulent stat padded numbers. I can add more and more but just thinking about Embiid makes me want to throw up. Dodging Jokic is the first of many things to come that will bring light on his dumbass.

I think it’s just the direct comparison to AD that makes Embiid look so bad on this team since AD fits so much better in any line-up that doesn’t need on-ball offense which is basically every line-up for team USA.
Personally, I also just think it’s sad how much slower and less nimble Embiid is in recent years compared to when he was younger. He honestly doesn’t need to carry the amount of weight that he does.
