Inspired by the post earlier today about player’s whose careers/reputations were wrecked due to one specific possession (e.g. Ben Simmons). Are there any players who had a positive viral moment off of one possession and had it follow them around?

Caruso’s putback dunk over KD comes to mind. I know Mason Plumlee has a mean highlights reel too but idk how much that has helped him. Thoughts?

John Paxson (1993 Finals) and Steve Kerr (1997 Finals) game winners elevate them to contributing championship players rather than background characters in the public perception.

Feels like the general audience’s opinion of Austin Reaves went from “yet another overrated Laker role player” to “oh shit this dude is for real” in the span of 3 possessions in Game 1 against Memphis last year.

Kyrie’s shot in the final. I think he’s viewed differently, not dramatically differently, but differently if it’s someone else that hits a 3 there.
