“Yeah, if we don’t win a championship, I might get traded. This is the job we live. This is the world we’re living in. It’s everybody. At any given moment, if you don’t succeed, that might be it for us. …If you don’t do a good enough job, you’re out.”

Unless he specifically asks to be traded there’s absolutely no chance he gets traded ever after winning a chip for them that would be insane

What he meant to say is he will be requesting a trade out, or at least hopes they trade him. He’s said before he will leave if he doesn’t feel they are contenders, and they are only going to go downhill from here.

Giannis is the only player they won’t trade. He’s the only thing bringing in fans and winning games for them

He’s setting the table for hoping to quietly ask for a trade.

Bucks management would have to be smoking something special to trade Giannis regardless of a championship this year

    How silly and dramatic.

The Bucks aren’t fucking trading Giannis Antetokounmpo.

There are literally 0 people in the Bucks organization who are thinking to themselves “yeah, we might have to look at trading Giannis”.

    Not a single soul.

Of course in a soft NY Times piece, Giannis is representing like this could be the case, but he knows damn well that it is not.
