“In a good way, some of them are really impressive and inspiring in the way they approach the game every night. But others that I used to like, now it’s like I’m just not sure they deserve it. Like they don’t seem like they put as much work in as I thought.”

this mentality is why I really think this guy has GOAT potential. Generational physical gifts and the mental profile to match it.

Castle is a good start, have no idea why they traded Dillingham tho. No team needs good players now more than the Spurs, 2029 doesnt help much and Minn could still be good then

He still needs a solid supporting cast to even achieve GOAT debate. MJ had pippen, Kobe had Shaq and Pau, LeBron has had a cast of elite dudes around him.

So until he has teammates who are equally good, he’s just another great stats, bad team dude.

Whats teammates and team results got to do with GOAT? That would be a terrible way to judge the GOAT.

I think the point is more that it’s super difficult to do much (in terms of championships) playing with a bunch of scrubs.
