All I see is summer league. Maybe G-league but that’s 1 tier. In the MLB we have like 6 levels of development and they are extremely extensive and fleshed out. It’s like every little detail is developed in a baseball player.

I mean surely Bronny would benefit from a multi-tier NBA development program. Imagine if he just changed a few mechanics. He would be a godly 40% shooter ya know. I mean Aaron Judge back in the minor leagues was pretty bad but somehow developed into one of the best of the best.

    Baseball and basketball are very different. It’s much harder to project who will be good in baseball, and injuries are more common (mostly in pitchers). It’s also less likely for a young player to immediately be able to play at the highest level in baseball compared to basketball. There are waaaaayyyyy more baseball players drafted than basketball players, hence the development leagues.
