The best offensive bag would probably be Bird. Dude had no holes on offense, could score from the low post, high post, shoot from any range, great free throw shooter, amazing passer, great cutter, & rebounder.

I can’t stand this new way of using the term of bag.

Kd or James harden. Elite from every single spot from the block to the half court line

I like how Jokic can do it all offensively effectively, efficiently and consistently.

“Bag” talk is genuinely the most annoying discussion in the NBA, no offense

The player with most points in NBA history apparently has no bag, guys who spam tween hesi pull up have a bag even if they didn’t achieve anything in their career

Disagree, “Who is the most overrated” is the most annoying discussion in the NBA. To be honest, probably the most annoying for any topic on the internet.

Total points is a longvity stat, so you dont actually need to be the top tier at that aspect.

A 15 PPG role player who plays 40 seasns would beat LeBron’s point total, does that mean he’s a good player?

Thats why points PER GAME is used for awards, scoring titles etc. And MJ definitely has a bag.

Lebron isn’t just 1st in total points, he’s 7th ALL TIME in PPG.

I’m actually so sick of the ‘that’s just a longevity stat’ so I’m just going to reply with this comment from now on:

‘You’re a fucking idiot and have absolutely no idea what the fuck you’re talking about.’

        What a load of bs?

First of all how many 15 ppg role players you know that have 30k+ points? or how many players you know that played 40 seasons? What a weird imaginary argument

And if you think longevity doesn’t contribute anything to your “bag”, then are you going to be dumb enough to say that players like Kobe, Dirk, Malone and Kareem had no bag? They had nothing special in them which helped them get to those points? And if it’s really that easy then why we only have 7 players who reached 30k points?

Secondly, I don’t care what you think about MJ’s bag. The fact that you think Lebron has no bag while he does pretty great on efficiency metrics, literally has as better TS% than a lot of players who have a “bag” while drawing the best defenders for about 22 years is hilarious

Opinions like this should get you laughed out of every basketball conversation

KD on the perimeter is aging so gracefully because he can get to his spots and rise up. Unblockable.

KD is not the answer because he’s dominant by being a 7 foot unicorn shooting over shorter players his position (SF). He doesn’t really have a bag comparatively to these greats and he doesn’t need to. Just enough to dribble to his spot and rise up. Hes not gonna do some crazy combos, get you shaking and get to the rim, nor post up. Just a mid range assassin with a 3 ball.

MJ has a post move bag, but his calling card is his athleticism, efficiency and fadeaway. Hes so smooth athletically, that he can just get by players with his first step without much need for handles. So I wouldnt say him as well, although he’d be top few and certainly above KD.

I think the answer is Kyrie. Crazy handles, not just handling the ball safely like CP3, but actually dribble combo the f out of people. Thats what a bag is. Harden is close, probably 2nd.

Their are still active but luka and harden has to be at least part of this conversation. They are literally hitting trick shots regularly

Just curious, what’s your definition of an offensive bag ? Do you care about efficiency at all or what the fuck your metrics are ?

He just wants to talk a bit of ball and don’t want to rationalize the discussion down to neutral numbers so the nerds know what we talk about.

He might have an argument in his prime to be honest. 3 ball, mid range, finishing, post ups, iso, all time playmaking and passing. He’s definetely up there
