Like I said last year the 65 game minimum was completely unnecessary. If it didn’t exist Joel still would have received zero MVP votes because he played in a ridiculously low number of games due to injury. The writers have ALWAYS taken that into consideration.
So yeah, Gil is wrong here. Maybe if he said “if Joel doesn’t get hurt” but, ya know, he didn’t.
