You’re grasping at straws, all he said was that it’s time to lock in and focus (sequentially right after his game 7 win against the Nuggets) and take on the Kyrie assignment next because he was tasked with the Murray assignment prior. Nothing said was controversial.
How is it grasping at straws when Kyrie himself literally said it made him kind of perk up and try harder and Ant is literally on the camera here saying that he shouldn’t have said it because it made it harder on him
It got so out of hand to the point that Ant can’t backtrack his way out of it now. Idk how it got taken out of context to begin with nor why Kyrie took it that way as well but that’s neither here nor there, all he did was mention his assignment and said “it was gonna be a fun one” lol
