Crazy performance by him. Heat probably win if bam and dragic healthy. Losing those 2 and then Jimmy carrying with legit randoms was insane. To be starting duncan and herro at this time was wild. No one knew em

this was one of those games where you realize you’re watching a guy play pretty much PERFECT basketball. It was so cool.

Still one of the greatest playoff performances I’ve ever seen.

The ridiculous shot-making in this game was so much fun to watch. Great on a rewatch too

His 2023 playoff run was so fun to watch. That was the most fun I’ve had watching a player and a team as a neutral.

Yea. He was somehow even better in 2023…until the ankle blew up.

Me and my roommate were new to watching bball, though I’d paid attention as a kid to Kobe and Shaq because duh.  We were like “this Jimmy fella is a scrub” after the play-ins.  My roommates brother was lost for words and called us idiots for the rest of the week.

Then the 56 pt game happened and we were like “okay, maybe he’s good.”

He’ll always have the respect of his peers and that’s all that really matters, but I want him to get a ring so bad to make all the fans stfu. He’s one the greatest playoff players in history and still consistently gets overlooked

this and 2023 were my least favorite finals we’ve had so far this decade, there wasn’t a second when i thought the heat would ever win either of those series. but good for jimmy.

I hate how much I enjoy watching Jimmy play.
Ran into him a few times when he lived in Chicago and I worked in the service industry, dude’s so infuriating to deal with but boy can he ball

I don’t think he was the worst celebrity/athlete/politician that I witnessed/served by any means. His entourage was somewhat inconsiderate of the people around them. He definitely treated male staff differently than the women, a touch of “mightier than thou” and for me, I can’t stand when you’re trying to help someone and they won’t even look at you

This playoffs into the 21 season was definitely the peak of my basketball consumption. Probably watched 80-90% of the games some weeks during online classes
