Garuba was a first round pick by the Rockets in 2021 and spent the last three years in the NBA with 3/4/1 averages.
He spent last season primarily with the Warriors G-League team.
Garuba will return to the Spanish giants, with whom he won the Euroleague Rising Star award, the Spanish league best young player award and the Spanish league title in his first term there.
Garuba will be joining Real Madrid’s stacked center rotation which now consists of Walter Tavares and Serge Ibaka.
