    So one of the best ever can’t compete because adding hid best event might upset people in other sports? I think every sport in the Olympics should compete in every way they do normally at world championships. No one :wins" the Olympics, just let the athletes compete as they do normally

      He can compete in the events that already exist, in which he’s already won multiple golds. They didn’t make extra events for Bolt to win, either.

      I wouldn’t necessarily be against 50m races in swimming, but it’s not unfair to swimmers that it’s not there. There are incredible athletes who dominate their sport who only have one shot at gold. Swimmers already have have multiple shots.

        He swims in the world championships at events taht already exist such as the 50m. Its not making another event, itsnot artificially limiting sports because of other sports or medal tables

      World championships cater to their own sport entirely, including testing new formats, team concepts etc.

      Olympics represent sport competitions as a whole. It’s fine to have a difference between them.

        So? That’s not a reason to limit people from competing in events that are used at WCs
