    Yeah, I can think of a candidate that came back from injury and finished the season with a 29-6 record, completely turned the team around and leading the by far best defense in the league that year. He won the award that year. Second place finish also played <60 games btw. AD with fucking Jrue Holiday and Rondo on his team had a league average defense btw.

        Pace does not affect defensive rating
