Don’t spread misinformation

Gotta stop the misinformation.

Breaking wasn’t “dropped”. Each host gets to pick four sports not in the core program. Paris picked breaking. LA did not. There’s a difference between dropping a sport (boxing) and picking a different optional sport.

It was decided before the Paris Olympics. A lot of the reactions are misdirected at Paris for failing breaking, but that is not a correlation.

Raygun’s performance had no impact on the decision. It certainly didn’t help, but she’s become the face of breaking’s exclusion even though they have nothing to do with each other.
