Modern audiences aren’t really that wowwed by celebrity nowadays so I don’t see what appeal celebrities actually bring. The Oscars have been declining in viewership year on year and look at what a cringefest F1 races in Miami and Las Vegas have been for putting celebrities first. Obviously the need to celebrate Hollywood and film but they need to be tasteful in how that’s done.

The opposite actually. It needs to pull from its historic lesser known culture.
