• Luke Kennard re-signs with Memphis on a longer-term, team-friendly deal - the Grizzlies are currently $5 million under the tax, so they could look to shed some additional salary (Ziaire Williams, John Konchar) to make room for a Kennard deal and possibly duck the tax altogether.
  • Tyus Jones agrees to a sign-and-trade with Washington to the LA Clippers - the Clippers are currently $6 million under the first apron hard cap, and they can theoretically clear enough room for a Jones S+T somewhere around the full MLE range (~$12-15m) by waiving-and-stretching PJ Tucker. They could also elect for additional moves to gain more flexibility, like sending Russell Westbrook and cash to Utah (so they can waive him instantly), or sending Bones Hyland and small draft compensation (2nd round pick) back to Washington to complete the sign-and-trade.
  • Isaac Okoro re-signs with Cleveland on a longer, team-friendly deal (maybe around 4y/$40-48m). Cavs are currently $9.7 million under the tax with 3 roster spots open - re-signing Okoro to either retain him long term as a cost-controlled bench rotation player or be able to flip as a tradable mid-size contract to look for a wing/forward upgrade on the trade market (Cam Johnson, Jerami Grant, Kyle Kuzma, Dorian Finney-Smith, etc) is a no-brainer.
  • Precious Achiuwa re-signs with New York on a longer-term, team-friendly deal - guessing something like 3y/$15-21mDoug McDermott re-signs for the minimum with Indiana for bench depth at the wing
